Freeware are programs
you can download for free.
Shareware
are programs available for free trial, either for a limited time or with limited
features.
The idea is for you to try before you buy which is great!
To see the hundreds of available freeware and shareware on line, go to
cnet, download, shareware, tucows,
etc. (all www.-------.com). The
one I prefer most and use often is
http://downloads-zdnet.com.com/.
It also has useful articles
on virtually everything computer and internet related.
Here is a small list
of freeware I have used and liked. Please keep in mind this is one
person's opinion and preference. I'm not affiliated with any of the
companies and/or products in any way, nor do I derive any compensation for
highlighting them. I hope that you find them useful. I would also
welcome any suggestion, comment and/or names of other useful freeware and
shareware--please email me at
singingcaleb@yahoo.com.
