Joan Pedersen is a native of Morro Bay. She obtained a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Redlands (California) and a teaching credential and master's degree in English from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.  

Joan holds a California real estate license and has worked full-time in the family business since 2001.
